ESD Worktop Matting is a cost-effective, hard-wearing anti-static matting ideal for laying on workbenches in advanced laboratories, and microelectronic industries such as electronic semiconductor devices, electronic computers, electronic communication equipment, and integrated circuits. The mats feature two layers, a static-dissipative surface and a conductive backing. The static-dissipative surface is resistant to abrasion, heat, solders flux, and most commonly used solvents, and the black conductive layer provides a superior and consistent ground path to Earth.Available in dark blue or dark grey, these mats are easy to clean with excellent lay-flat properties for a flat work surface.Optional accessories available - Common Grounding Point Cord - Socket, Coiled Earth Lead – 10mm to 10mm Stud, Wrist Band, Earth Bonding Plug, and Heel Grounder. The matting can be supplied with studs if required.
We offer a range of optional accessories for our ESD matting range, designed to dissipate static electricity and prevent workers from unpleasant static shocks, whilst safeguarding equipment.Common Grounding Point Cord – Socket - Designed to provide a strong connection to ground, our cord is 3 mtrs (10ft) long and comes with a 10mm female stud/1Meg Ohm at both ends. The cords are specifically manufactured for effective safe grounding of operators working with ESD sensitive components to prevent a build-up of static discharge. The cord is insulated with PU material and the plastic parts of the coil cord are made with static-dissipative plastic material. The cord must be used in combination with a bonding point and wrist strap to ensure the operator is grounded. Available in light blue.Coiled Earth Lead – 10mm to 10mm Stud - Lightweight coil cord, designed to provide a strong connection to the ground. The coil can stretch to 1.8 mtrs (6ft) long and come with a 10mm female stud/1Meg Ohm at both ends. The coil cords can be stretched and recoiled back to its original length, helping to keep a clear working area for efficiency and comfort. They are essential for protecting workers and equipment in environments where static-sensitive electronic devices are used, repaired, manufactured, or assembled. The cord must be used in combination with a bonding point and wrist strap to ensure the operator is grounded. Available in dark blue.Earth Bonding Plug - Bonding Plugs offer a simple and easy method of grounding. Grounding cords can be connected to the Earth plug via the female stud at one end of the cord to a male stud on an Earth plug. Our Earth Bonding Plug incorporates 3 x 10mm male studs for grounding cord connection and is supplied with a 1 meg-ohm resistor. Designed to fit UK standard mains plug outlets and is available in yellow to visually stand out.Wrist Band - Crocheted lightweight design for maximum skin contact and comfort. The outer surface of the wrist band is non-conductive, and the inner surface of the strap is conductive, lined with 5-rows of double-ply silver yarn. The conductive woven fibres are silver for maximum conductivity and minimum skin irritation. The plastic parts of the strap are made from a static dissipative material. The band is fully adjustable and supplied with a 10mm stud as standard. Available in blue. Heel Grounder - Our premium, durable heel grounder is designed to be worn in an ESD working area. It’s quick and easy to use and can be adjusted with the hook and loop fastener (D-ring). The heel strap is black conductive on the outside and white on the inside to avoid any shoe marking. They are reusable and designed to be long-lasting. All of our ESD accessories are compliant with the following standards: IEC 61340-5-1, CE approved, REACH, and RoHS.
Dynamat is a heavy duty, premium quality loose-lay floor mat that offers excellent shock absorption qualities and exceptional resistance to wear. Available in two thicknesses, 10mm and 17mm, Dynamat is a virtually indestructible dense rubber mat, used to protect floors and provide insulation for the most demanding applications. The wide ribbed pattern on the reverse allows drainage, whilst the dense rubber textured anti-slip surface, makes Dynamat the perfect solution for industrial sites, gyms, stables, kennels, livery enclosures, dog grooming areas, golf courses, ice rinks and much more.
Diamond Grip - Hazard is an extremely tough, durable self-adhesive anti-slip tape with hazard chevrons for added protection for medium to high traffic areas. Along with possessing exceptional grip levels, the safetygrip is waterproof, can sustain most chemicals and, be used inside or out for added protection on steps or walkways.
Diamond Grip - General Purpose is a tough, durable self-adhesive anti-slip tape perfect for medium to high traffic areas. Along with possessing excellent grip levels, the safety-grip is waterproof, can sustain most chemicals and, can be used inside or out for added protection on steps or walkways.
Chequer Plate Matting is a low-cost surface covering, recommended for applications where safety and slip protection are crucial but without the need for anti-fatigue properties. The diamond-embossed chequer plate surface provides exceptional non-directional grip, making it suitable for workbenches as well as flooring. This lightweight matting is available in both rolls and cut lengths.
Cellmax connectors are used to connect the mats together to create walkways and any other shape or size required. They simply click into position to create a secure straight edge between the mats. The recommended number of connectors is four when connecting the shorter sides and five when connecting the longer sides.Cellmax is sturdy rubber duckboard that provides excellent rigidity due to its solid cellular construction. The octagonal shaped drainage holes have raised edging which allows fluid and debris to fall through, leaving a clear surface. Cellmax also offers exceptional anti-fatigue benefits, and the slip resistant surface makes it ideal for use in wet areas.
