GroundTuff® Urban
The GroundTuff Urban is a lightweight yet durable temporary ground protection solution, supporting a load capacity of up to 35 tonnes*.
Manufactured from 100% recyclable High-Density Polyethene (HDPE), each mat measures 1100mm x 2400mm in size, 8mm thick.
Designed with a smooth finish and a 4-bar chequered plate surface, which provides the benefits of anti-slip properties, minimising risks of slips, trips and falls, and features the opportunity for ease of wheeled access making this mat suitable for many applications.
Like other mats in our GroundTuff range, the GroundTuff Urban features a design of corner and side holes that provide connection points, allowing for mats to be joined together. Compatible with our full range of 2-way and 4-way connectors.
A combination of being lightweight and with design of integrated handholds provides the opportunity for a quick layout, supporting the meeting of project demands and deadlines. Mats can easily be repositioned depending on bespoke area requirements and used time and time again.
*Load bearing capacity is dependent on ground conditions and load characteristics, and the ground beneath the matting must be structurally sound and free from significant depressions, such as potholes, as these can cause the matting to crack or become damaged.
